Blip or Steady decline?

Blip or Steady Decline?

  1. 1. We've only scored 1 goal in the last 3 games and dropped 6 points in the process. Is this evidence that we're going backwards or nothing more than a temporary glitch while we have key players out injured?

    • just a blip (don't panic!)

    • steady decline (we're doomed!)

...the last 3 games being proof that the end is nigh. But is that really the case?

I don't think away draws against Derby and Exeter are terrible results, tbh. Especially considering our injuries.

The one game that I was really disappointed with was Oxford at home. We just didn't turn up.

While we've not been emphatic victors for a while, we've still looked assured at the back and controlled each game for significant periods.

So, despite finding some of Moore's decisions perplexing at times (as per every fan-manager relationship ever!), I can't say I'm overly worried yet.

You?

If we can just steady the ship over the next month I still feel we have a chance at automatics. Not a great feeling watching a dull game but points is points in the end.  Argentina lost to Saudi Arabia and I thought that was the writing on the wall for them. Shows how much I can be wrong in football !!    Be good now to get a settled 11 and the forwards doing their stuff and we’ll all feel happier 👍

Neither.

If Moore stops changing the formation every game and starts picking BOTH of our strikers and stops thinking Windass is the answer we’ll fly.

If he sticks with his current approach then it’s clearly a steady decline because it’s as plain as the nose on your face that its awful.

Windass has only been on the pitch for 50% of our recent three game 'blip'.

It's hardly proof if you in the next sentence ask "Is it really the case?" 😄
