Bellingham could be that player. It all depends on his next move for me.

At an international level, it also depends on how we use him. And the same goes for Foden and Grealish, neither of whom we've seen the best of in an England shirt. A lot of top international teams have/have had one or two key players around whom they build their play - Zidane, Pirlo, Xavi + Iniesta, Modric, de Bruyne, Ronaldo, Messi, etc. We don't generally seem to do that.

We dont have someone on that level because we coach it out of kids at a young age with our old fashioned mentalities.

correct…it’s ok to be second best, which creates everything but a winning mentality. it’s not about been cruel, it’s about understanding what it takes to be winner.

Sancho will act as a good warning for Bellingham. Dortmund to the premier league is only the right move if the club fits.

Agreed. He needs to be going to the likes of City, Liverpool (maybe, depends how they strengthen in coming years).

Or abroad to the likes of Madrid, Bayern.

Totally agree with you. We have not seen the best of the likes of Foden in an England squad. Good performances but not much "world class" style performance.

I don't think he fits that wide role for England.

But we need to be building the England squad around Bellingham in the middle of the park. I'd like to see both him and Foden in that central midfield role.

Foden is the one for me. I think we need his trajectory to coincide with City winning all the time… I’d like him to score lots of goals too based on the talent people say he has.

I don’t think England is the type of Country to celebrate individual players either… Portugal love Ronaldo, Argentina love Messi… English people find those guys too arrogant, but they are ‘winners’…. I don’t think we like anyone getting too successful in this Country… we’d try and bring them down first.

Yep. He looks like he can be as good as he wants to be — incredible physicality, technique, and maybe most importantly, seems like he’s got the right mentality to get to the very top tier.

Hopefully, for England, his next move is City
