shezzas left peg
I'm a bit confused ,maybe the cold ,my age or the fact I'm stuck on the wrong side of the Pennines. Wasn't he a trialist here . He was playing games for us ,why is he here and not playing for them if he's one of Thier players.

Same reason G Hist didn't join Leicester directly, he's an academy product so United are entitled to a fee I believe.

gypsyowl
what's the point in having him on trial if there's not a direct option to sign him if we want to, seems a bit pointless to me

He's been at them lot for 2 years but there seems to be have been a falling out. Apparently he thinks he should be around the first team, the club don't think he's ready yet, so he's said he wants out. Heckingbottom has said he can go but they're going to want some recompense. I don't know how he's come to be on trial with us, I presume they've agreed to it as they hold his registration. https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/football/sheffield-wednesday/clarity-provided-on-future-of-young-sheffield-united-international-after-sheffield-wednesday-trial-3905304 https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/football/sheffield-wednesday/clarity-provided-on-future-of-young-sheffield-united-international-after-sheffield-wednesday-trial-3905304
Five Archers
I demand we sign him today and that he starts on Saturday, brilliant player 3.5 average points per game for the rest of the season for us. Moore’s a genius if he doesn’t score in the first 10 minutes he’s rubbish and Moore should be sacked

Ante's Bubbly
This story about Hassan Ayari, was doing the rounds yesterday, and gave the impression that he had only just returned to united. I thought he had gone back to them end of December/beginning of Jan? The last news I could remember seeing from us was that Darren and the coaching staff had been impressed with him. Did united want too much for him? Anybody know what happened with this? From a NewsNow SWFC link yesterday to the pig news website. (Bear with it, the writer does have a favourite word that appears a few times). Sheffield United youngster Hassan Ayari appears to be back with the Blades, after trying to get a move to Sheffield Wednesday. Ayari was given permission by Paul Heckingbottom and the club to find pastures new. Those pastures new appeared to be a trial with local rivals Wednesday, with Ayari even appearing in friendlies for the Owls. Photo by George Wood/Getty Images However, Wednesday appear to have not signed the young Tunisian up. And instead, Ayari now seems to be back at Bramall Lane and back involved in the under-21s. Ayari was named on the bench as the 21s took on Crewe Alexandra today. It was a routine 3-0 win in the end, with first-teamers Louis Marsh and Andre Brooks both getting on the scoresheet. TrickyTrev
We should agree a few for him, sign him and then not bother paying the scrubbers. That appears to be the done thing over in S2.
