Sick of seeing players like Windass, Johnson, Dele-Bashiru, strolling around waiting for the ball to come to them. Zero commitment to go and win the ball back.

We have the likes of Bannan, McGuiness, Smith, James, and Gregory who at least show effort and desire to win the game, the rest meh.

Ignoring the defenders, who'd you'd expect to be winning a lot more tackles than the attacking players, you seem to have got your groups in reverse order today:

The 'zero commitment to go and win the ball back' group:

Johnson: 2 tackles, 2 interceptions

Dele-Bashiru: 1 tackle, 2 interceptions

Windass: 2 tackles, 0 interceptions

The 'effort and desire to go and win the ball back' group:

Smith: 1 tackle, 0 interceptions

Bannan: 0 tackles, 0 interceptions

Gregory: 0 tackles, 0 interceptions

He certainly doesn't motivate them not too.

Stands there mute, may as well get a cardboard cutout

Ah yeah, that day back in July. I was away for that 🤣 Seriously though, he needs to up his game dramatically

I think he has shown how good he can be at times, other than the run in the first few minutes where he won a free kick, he didn’t have a great game today admittedly.

I’m yet to see Dele Bashiru have a decent 45 minutes.

Earlier in the season he scored some good goals for us and it seemed like he had a lot of freedom to play and do his stuff, or he ignored what he was being coached. He looked like a very exciting prospect.

Over the last 4 or 5 games, he looks subdued and it seems like he's been told not to get too far forward. He seems to stop, and make a backward pass too often now and as a result he's far less dangerous.

Perhaps I'm reading it incorrectly but he's not playing with the freedom, energy or unpredictability that he was. That's a shame because it's detrimental to our final third.
