Geegory and Windass been training all week and possibles for Saturday.

I wouldn't put too much hope on them travelling though.

Not worth the risk in my opinion, a physically tough away game. Just put out our fully fit players in a system that suits them and it should be enough to get a result against Exeter. UTO

Set of over indulged kids nowadays. Get em running up some hills, will soon have em begging to play.

Back in the day players would only ever miss one game at most.

& they were finished by 30 lol

I always wonder how the modern player would have coped with playing 6 games in 2 weeks like they did in the F.A. Cup against Arsenal, 1979.

It would take a bad injury to keep players from playing in those days, and sometimes that wouldn't stop them. Also clubs just had one physio/trainer with a bucket of cold water and a sponge. Not like today with loads of trainers, loads of physios, and a sports science team.

To be honest mate, i really think modern players are way above anything from back in the day, they are fitter, faster, and would probably beat the easily.

Was having a chat with a mate the other week and we reckoned that if you put the 70's Liverpool team in the Premier now, they would be relegated.

d moore said today byers himself dont want to play yet . you hear about players of yesteryear playing through pain , strapped up etc etc some modern day players want wrapping up in cotton wool . i think his season is already over with us . d moore has been asked the same question week after week like a bad record about byers . its a shame players get full pay for doing nothing

Probably because most of their players would be suspended all of the time in today's game.. The game was a lot tougher in the 70's and 80's.
