1952Owl
We are in a strong position. But..... Worrying injuries. FDB & Pato leaving? Will McGuiness be recalled? Damn! Service to Smith & Gregory for goals? Seems to me we need centre half cover Plus we need a new strong striker. What do you think fellow Owls? Any players in mind to help be top? OneManBand
Strikers what could score would be good.
CircleSeven
If McGuiness goes back I’ll definitely cry. We need 2 more CB’s as it is. If he goes we will need three! Up top we could really do with someone rapid to bring on as an impact sub who is better that either Mighten or Wilks. Half a season in and neither of those two are cutting it.
WUGGAMONKEY1
Two centre halves and a striker I’d say. Best business of the January transfer window would be keeping McGuinness.

1952Owl
Agree Mighten and Wilks a let down. Send Mighten back. Wilks? Options as we signed him?
Kevowls1
I'd like a lot of business done in Jan...Mighten returned. Wilks released to none league. Pato sold if he want to go. Bashiru sold if he doesn't want to sign. A centre half in, a right wing back and someone with a bit of strength and pace up top!

Mike Hunt
Thing about loans is that usually you can’t send em back but they can be recalled Be just our luck to lose Mcguiness and have to keep Mighten

room0035
We need two wingbacks who can both defend and attack. they become a back 5 when defending but provide the service when we attack. Smith wont be getting double figures this season without better service. we also need a pacy forward too that scores goals. 1

Sultan_Pepper
I've got a feeling about Mighten, think he'll come good when he understands the league he's playing in We need two center halves and recall Brennan
Holmowl
Really hard to answer this question. Usually we play a fairly consistent formation but this season’s Heinz 57 makes it very tough to see an obvious need. If, as I hope, we go back to 352, we need a third striker as back-up to Smith and the ailing Gregory. We certainly need two CBs. This also releases Palmer to play RWB. S72 Owl
Don’t think we need to do too much to be honest. In; CB RWB CF Out; Wilks loan Brown Paterson
Tommy Crawshaw
Due to injuries, we definitely need a centre back. If we get another injury or McGuiness goes back to Cardiff, we're stuffed. Also could do with a forward or two, preferably with pace. I would let Mighten go back to Forest. One I would like us to keep an eye on is Sam Folarin at Harrogate. I posted about in another thread. He wouldn't cost much and maybe a deal could be done including loaning them Wilks. 6 hours ago, Tommy Crawshaw said: I think in Smith, Gregory and Windass, we have good striking options. Some of the best in the division, though there are fitness concerns with the latter two. The problem is they get little service, especially from out wide. Wilks and Mighten aren't cutting it. A Mehmeti type would be ideal, though he would cost. One player I would like us to take a look at is Sam Folarin at Harrogate. Warnock brought him to Middlesbrough along with Isiah Jones from Tooting and Mitcham, the club were Antonio began his career. Jones has established himself in the Boro first team but Wilder released Folarin in the Summer, despite impressive performances in their U23's. Harrogate signed him on deadline day. He's 22, fast, strong and though still inexperienced, I think he is a good prospect and definitely an upgrade on Mighten. He scored one and made one at Rochdale on Saturday. Barnsleyowl1996
Hunt should be more than good enough to be a back up btw but whenever I’ve seen him recently it’s been poor
