Train disruption for our trip to Derby

Trains ok between 07.30 and 18.30..why would that disrupt any wednesday fans?

One train per hour instead of the usual two …… 50% reduction in service with twice the number trying to get on one train ……. Same applies to return journey as service terminates  in Sheffield at 18:30,  giving a maximum 3 trains to get back on which will be sort of  rammed before they get to Derby (one train per hour instead of two)

I’d say that was pretty disruptive, wouldn’t you?

Not really..I looked the other day and it’s 10..00 from Sheffield or 11.00..I would say it’s a scaremongering thread title..people who don’t look into it will be thinking 5hey are on strike..just don’t expect a seat on any train you board..and your ‘disruption’ will be kept to a minimum

When was a strike for Saturday announced? I know of the other strike dates .

Around 3pm ain't the busiest time for getting on a train plus no service to London or back will reduce numbers and many get off a derby anyways . It be v busy but I've seen far worse where 500 of us crammed on 2 carriages for over an hour.
