More accolades for Darren Moore's Sheffield Wednesday players

Sheffield Wednesday duo Mark McGuinness and Barry Bannan have been included in the Sky Bet League One Team of the Week.

The Owls continued their outstanding run of form at the weekend with a 1-0 win over Shrewsbury.

Darren Moore’s side are now seven unbeaten in League One.

 

It was Bannan and McGuinness who were the key players for the only goal of the game in the 39th minute of the first half.

 

The captain’s wonderful delivery from a corner was met in the middle by McGuinness who steered his header into the Kop net.

 

The EFL Team of the Week is decided by statistics from WhoScored.com, with every player receiving a rating out of 10 based on a number of data points.

 

Bannan made the cut with a score of 7.9, while McGuinness registered a game-high 8.3.
