Reece James

His decision making is outstanding. He always seems to make the right calls - whether to pass, to hold it, to move with it.

And surprisingly good in the air - not seen him put a foot wrong this season

Apart from the foot on an opponents knee that got him sent off away at Pboro.

Other than that, as the Op says, solid. Do think an on form Marv gives us more from a left sided delivery POV.

We look much better at 3 5 2 - would have James LCB, McGuinness centre, Marv LWB

Would like to see..... Famewoo left side of defence with Michael I & McGuinness. So Reece J playing left wing back.

A really strong team would be....

(worried if McGuiness is recalled?)

                        Stockdale

    Michael I   McGuiness  Famewoo

    Palmer/Iorfa?                Reece J

    FDB                Byers        Bannan

                  Windass   Smith

Subs: Gregory, Bakinson, Dawson, Pato, Mighten, Wilks, Palmer/Iorfa?

Would like to sign him after loan. Good feet, gets forward and decent in the air. Rarely puts a foot wrong.

If Moore continues to torture us playing from the back we'll need him!

Probably our only proper wing back, but played well as left back and in a back 3.

In a way he reminds me a bit of Luke Shaw. Not so much in terms of ability but his running style and the way in which he moves his body to get the ball onto his left foot.

He’s a very good player at this level without doubt and knows his job very well. A very steady 7/10 player every week, much in the way Lewis Buxton became over time.
