He is doing a lot of good things. If he can be smart around the box when defending crosses etc he will be very good for us this season.

Some terrible touches it’s like he’s never played before sometimes

 

We really need him to get back to his old self and hopefully he’ll get there soon enough

He did look better in the division above for us before his nightmares started.
 

Lad doesn't like playing fullback or wing back, but he needs to play there as it's his best position and it might get his confidence back to where it needs to be, then he can think about centre back again once he's stopped with the daft mistakes and putting himself under pressure with donkey touches.

Might be wrong but it seems to me he can't adapt to playing in a back 3.

 

Looks more comfortable in a 2 or as a full/wing back.

His first touch can be shocking

 

He's vulnerable when crosses come into the box, like when Winnall scored recently

 

But he is getting better, he's still a long way off but these things take time

He was written off by a fair few after being out a long time but it's clear he's getting better with every game, although pato might be a better option after palmer at rb/rwb.

 

He was a top tier 2 cb at one point with talk of potential to compete in tier 1, and is starting to look capable of a level above again imo. Just needs to keep concentration especially with crosses and attack the ball more at times, but his improvement has been great to see.

 

If anything ike needs to raise his game now after getting caught wrong side a few times recently and giving forwards a free run towards goal, but iorfa and mcguiness have been a level above recently imo.

When a video goes up it all about all our thoughts as community today video was just a good talking point I though but guess I misjudged it I stay in my lane. I take as swing and a miss on my part

If we can shield him from marking in the box he is a good player.

Unfortunately at some point, and especially against better teams,  he will have to do this.

Its good that he seems to be getting some confidence back though.

When Famweo, Mcguiness, Henehgan and Ihiekwe are all fit he's nowhere near the squad. And with Palmer not fit last weekend and Hunt not getting up to speed he'll get games for the foreseeable. But i think it's down to lack of bodies at the back at the moment, but he needs to keep putting in good performances and make it hard for DM to leave him out when Palmer returns

Much improved Saturday, 1 serious mistake, but his pace and aerial power seem to be coming back, let's not write him off just yet, and with injuries we need to encourage him, not groan at him.

At his best he always had a mistake in him but he usually had the pace and ability to rectify it.

I can't help thinking with Dele that he/we are waiting to see which division we're in next season, we can probably offer him more in the champ than we can in L1,.

 

I hope that if we get promoted he'll stay.
