Utah Owl
They're clearly concentrating on the league.
Fablon Dunlop
That's an absolutely dreadful result for Plymouth. In both the score and losing two mainstays in the first team. It was said by a few people that they would not maintain their run. I think this could be the start.

Southie_Owl
Next two league games are away, Lincoln and burton. Hopefully Lincoln take some points off them like they did us
Devonstrix
Been telling you’ve they’ve been a bit fortunate of late. I know it’s the cup, but they’ve put a strong team out. Defeat has been coming, but I must admit I didn’t expect Grimsby to spank them like this. They have no home game until December so this could certainly throw them out of their stride. Injuries already starting to pile up.

SiJ
Looks like it was a mixture of starters and more backup players. Still - you never want to get pumped by 5 goals do you.
StudentOwl
Alternatively: one less competition for them to worry about... drops some potential league fixture congestion. Time will tell

Django
Probably wishful thinking but I’ve convinced myself that Plymouth will fall away in the new year Small squad, injuries, suspensions, also Plymouth is ******** miles away from everywhere which surely is a grind as the season goes on in sheite weather

FlyingOwl
I’ve been saying they’ll fall away once injuries take their toll and they eventually lose a game. Its the time of the season where squad depth becomes important z
