S6 atmosphere- does the club care?

Isn’t it time the club was pressed to engage with fans on how we can improve the S6 morgue?

We call them tinpot, but other clubs have tried ideas such as singing sections to try and generate some noise. Why aren’t the club utilising its social media accounts to put the challenge to the supporters?

It just feels at times like we take the easy route of doing nothing.

Sack the band.

Filling in the massive gaps between the stands would help as a start.

Not sure spending millions is the place to start.

But I would like to see them allocate a section of the kop specifically for people who intend to make a noise. Why not incentivise with cheaper tickets for this area and provide some flags etc?

The home away day was a great idea a few years back but then never seemed to be repeated. Why not give that another go and properly promote it? 3,000 noisy SWFC fans on the upper leppings lane would be class.

How many bonus points do we get for atmosphere?

None, but I reckon a fair amount of fans put off or drag themselves to home games because they know the atmosphere is like a library. Why are the club just resigning themselves to it?

It has never been easier to reach out to fans and get ideas off the ground, yet we do fizz all.

Agreed the atmosphere is poor. And we should up our game a bit. It is hard to get up for Burton Albion in the third tier and for some of the performances we sometimes have to endure!

But I'm sure we can do more. We tend to knock the fans in T1, but they are the most vocal. The Kop died when seats were put in. Something needs to be put in place where we can get all of our great fans together to help liven up Hillsborough and lift our team. There is a stark contrast in home and away support!

Safe standing might help. But I think that is a while off.  Just an accepted standing area would be a start....

I don't have the answers but I think fans need to give ideas and the club hopefully will cooperate in helping liven up what should be one of the best supported stadiums in the EFL at least, not just by numbers but atmosphere!

What would you do then?

Its not about seats..just enclose it..like wba did years ago..the gab between the kop and north is crap..or just copy the gruntbags

.

I'm sorry but I find gruntbags absolutely hilarious and I shall now be using this regularly for the foreseeable future.
