F*cking bottlers

Recommended Posts

Guess this is the first time their relatively new manager will be tested. If they go on a winning streak then fair play, or they could start getting the 90 min nerves like we had.

Next game is against Bracknell Town in the FA cup. Bit of a can't really win. They'll be expected to put 5+ on them, on TV as well.

Hope they get beat and then we get Bracknell in the next round after we thump Morecambe.

I’ve had a look at their forum and they are not happy. They mentioned the game when they played us. Tbf they were better than us that day but we somehow got a point.

Imagine it on here if we went 2 goals up in 91st minute and ended up drawing. :duntmatter:

Meltdown!!!

Bit of a kick in the balls is that one

Hopefully it knocks their confidence and their form dips a little

Or why don’t we start beating everybody (even the good teams) so we arnt relying on Ipswich and Plymouth to have a bad spell

Errr because we need them to drop a few points so we can overtake them

I know football is ‘ifs and buts’ but if we’d have held our half times leads v Bristol and Lincoln (which we’d expect to do) we’d be top tonight.

just shows fine margins make a big difference

I still have nightmares about that 2015 match vs Birmingham. 2-0 into injury time, going back top after two away defeats on the spin, they get a penalty for 2-1 but it’s that equaliser that haunts me, ball hooked back across and it was like slow motion stuff as it was bundled into the side of the net.. absolute silence from our fans, shock and disbelief at what happened. But it was the sheer anger coming out the ground after and walking across the bridge, we knew that would kill us we were done mentally shot after that. We won 2 in 14 and didn’t even make the playoffs after being 18 points clear of 7th. Ipswich could easily fall apart but it’s still relatively early in the season.

Instead our meltdown was pre match when the team was announced.   Jaden Brown dropped … just accept it.

We shouldn't have put ourselves in that position in the first place. Playing catch up already
