Play out from the back, keep the ball on the deck and link up play though the middle with the wing backs getting forward to provide the width. Emerson Thome Posted August 8, 2022 Share Posted August 8, 2022 Judging Iorfa not only on Portsmouth, but also his previous two games last season in this 3-5-2 (Accrington and Wimbledon) he has looked all at sea on the right of the back three.. He never looked completely comfortable there under Monk either (Fulham away 5-3 defeat, Birmingham away 3-3, etc.) I think his way back into the team would be at the centre of the 3 in defence. So he's got to out-perform Heneghan. Suspect he'll be given a chance there against Sunderland but Heneghan is very much first choice right now.
