Do you know what's IMPOSSIBLE to do right now?

Judge this side

Just how this side will do this season

Judge any of the new players

Judge the formation

Judge the tactics

Judge how any of the old players are going to do this season

Anyone saying otherwise is being ridiculous

It's impossible to judge anything right now as it's too early, the season has only just begun.

What you CAN do fairly is judge a players performance in a game, whether good, average or he had a weak game - but that doesn't mean you can say he's good, rubbish, going to have a great season or a bad season

Yeh you are right, we should all think the same

Then Owlstalk would be redundant

Agree.

I don't know if it's the early start but Wednesday (and both Portsmouth and MK) look like you see teams in pre season. The teams don't seem match sharp/fit yet.

It’s going to be a long, tough, twisty-turny season.

Injuries to our only left-footed CB and our big new striker have left us looking a bit threadbare in both departments. I expect we’ll be buying or loaning one of each.

4 points is a great start. How we got them is as irrelevant as how England qualify from group stages of major tournaments. It’s WAAAAY too early to draw any conclusions.

4 points from two games. Charlton at home next….happy days.

This is what was said about Arsenal's International defensive pairing in their first match " Saliba's central defensive partnership with Gabriel is in its infancy and there were anxious moments when Arsenal keeper Aaron Ramsdale was called into action to save from Odsonne Edouard and Eberechi Eze. " and yet people expect our new League One defence to gel from day one
