Did anyone go to this?

Just drove past a shop with this poster in the window. A few days ago but wondered if anyone went to it? 

 

Was it any good? 

 

Not surprised Curran was there, across road from his dog track, but did he say owt crackers?

Damn. I thought this post was going to be about the 3-3 draw we had with Swindon,  sometime in the mid nineties. I was there, that night. First game the old man took me to. 

 

But this post isn't about that. 

 

I didn't go to this. Did Mel Stirling write Spaceballs?

I was at that game. I seem to recall some blame being levelled at Gordon Watson as we were 3-2 up in the last minute and he had a chance to run the ball into the corner and he shot instead and Swindon went up and scored.

Yes! That's the one. I remember being really disappointed that we'd conceded in the last minute. Still, it's served me well as a long suffering Wednesday fan

Curran deleted me off Face Book. He’d put something controversial about black players and I had the audacity to question his comment and wondered what some of his former team mates would have thought about what he said…I can’t remember his exact quote but he had plenty of people in agreement with him. Sad really, great player at the time but has some outdated views on the world

I was there too, I am pretty sure it was the night game. Have also got a feeling we're maybe two goals up And only drew?

As I recall the game didn't kick off until 8.30 pm because of a bumper crowd

I took him off my list as well   lots of racist stuff in the comments ... didn't  see any by Terry  but it was pretty   vile   don't need to see s hit like that

Damn. Sounds about right. While I don't really remember the specifics, I seem to remember us leaving late and walking through the city, quite late. Oddly, I have a memory of walking somewhere quite neon underground (is there a tube in Sheffield? Forgive my ignorance, I haven't been in quite a few years now!) And I remember saying "Is that REALLY Chris Waddle???" To my dad when all the players walked out
