Half a million pound bid REJECTED

Recommended Posts

Got no issue with us rejecting the offer as long as we are going to sort a contract out soon. We can’t keep letting people walk for nothing, especially when they’re not first team players.

Not many teams in this division would turn down that sort of offer a 5th choice player.

Problem now is that when he goes for a new contract his agent will ask for one commensurate with a player worth more than 500k.

Good point this.

We value him more than we want to buy Wilks. His agent will be ensuring he’s paid in accordance with players of that value.

We've been selling ourselves short for so long, other clubs know it and continue to try it on

Our own supporters have become conditioned to it too

Tell Norwich and whoever else to feck off

How much did we sell Antonio to Forest for, and how much did they sell him to West Ham for

Ask for 3 million, not a penny less

If the tables were turned and Fizz played for Norwich, they would want 3 million minimum

Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.

Good business I think. He's a promising player and we need to get the best out of him here. Not sure how much we would have to give Man City out of the transfer fee - but would probably eat up a lot of the £500k -  so makes sense to keep him at Hillsborough IMO.

We have to give Man City a large chunk of any sell on fee so it’s better he stays and helps us get promoted this season.  Then next summer if he wants to swap relegated Blackpool for promoted wednesday then fair enough.  Feel he might sign an extended contract with us tho if he gets game time in a promotion winning team

Let’s not fall for this..pure agent nonsense to try and harvest a hefty rise..500k would be good business..but it’s about as real as those ‘Argentina bids’ for windlass.

Wouldn’t surprise me.

Might well be further up the pecking order than 5th choice.
