A Tribute to Germanbird and BDM (Big Darren Moore)

In our first season in League One BDM has laid down a productive and efficient style of play.

The Owls need the remaing spine of the team and the new signings to pick up where we left off, from the first game of the season...(Forgetting the playoffs)

We need to be on the front foot going into October. On our two previous stints in League One in the 21st century, season one was always asbymal as contacts expired. Last season wasn't the case. We did better than expected. (On my estimation at least)

It seems to me we are building the squad again. I still think we really could do with a Gold plated (20 goal a season) League one target man, imho, but I'm a Dinosaur... (and yet I still like one touch free flowing football) The best of both worlds will see us promoted as I see it.

Good luck to the Owls and BDM from the CoM

I'm happy with our two main strikers. Gregory got 17 for us and Smith scored close to 20 for Rotherham. Better to spread the goals rather than have them all in one player that could get injured. If we cna add a pacey forward and another CB I'll be happy until Jan.

Hopefully we'll hit the ground on all four cylinders this season and kick on from there.

I'm 46 and I've seen many extraordinary things at Wednesday, but never seen us win the league...

Surely once every 50+ years SWFC are capable of winning the League (Even in the third division)

Ihekwie usually got a couple for Rotherham too..

That's good news...

We've lost Shemus Dunkley, and I really don't know why at this level we've allowed that to happen.

Good to hear Ihekwie will also offer an attacking threat at set pieces.

We need goals from all areas of the lineup if we are looking for promotion.

Me too

We’re a lot weaker at the back this season that’s for sure. And if we are to continue with this passing out then we’re in for a shock as I don’t think one of them looks comfortable with the ball at there feet !!

It’s hard to call that when nobody has even seen them play together yet

Together yes, and they may actually be better in certain defensive areas such as from set pieces etc. But if were gonna continue this playing through the lines were deffo gonna be weaker with these players.
