As the title says , things seem to have ground to a halt regarding transfers , and yet Derby come out of administration and they seem to be signing a couple every couple of days but granted  they need them

A/ Derby need to sign players urgently otherwise they have no first team.

B/ They're most signing players who are old/had injury/not made it in their previous team

 

Nothing to worry about. Only thing of concern is:

A/ We sign players who'll better our squad than last year

B/ We have cover especially in defence*

 

*We haven't signed any loans yet

The Derby obsession on here is absolutely embarrassing!! They’ve signed Wildsmith, who is garbage and most of their players are over 31. Nothing to be creaming your panties about!!

I'm finding the reactions to Derby's signings fascinating

It almost gives a little insight into how the less well off clubs feel when they see US signing all the superstars that we do (for this level that is)

Who gives a flying flip about what Derby are doing?!?

 

Majority were relatively happy with our transfer business until Derby signed our 3rd choice goalkeeper, our hit and miss lazy winger and a few other has beens.

Hourihane is only 31, if he stays fit there's a good chance he ends up in the League One Team of the Season.

I think it shows the strength of our squad at the moment, trying to find players that will be better is becoming difficult to find..  To be honest I think all we really need is a few loan players in and they are not likely to come in until last minute..

2 of them are our rejects, 1 is a Blunt reject.

If they pip us to this loan ill be a little concerned. But as things stand we have had by far the better window.,

It's so hard to build what is basically a new team and hit the ground running.  I wouldn't be surprised if they were just hovering around the playoffs, like we were last season.
