Smith few nice touches but needs a bit of pace alongside him , Ihiekwe looked solid enough , possibly a couple of stray passes Heneghan, again solid enough , but the second half was a bit of a training sesh nobody really went full pelt apart from Hunty a few times Jaden Brown huffed and puffed but for me isn’t good enough, Paterson I’ve no idea where he fits in the team and looked like he’d come off the beach yesterday Ryan Galvin is the one I’d pick out today, looked composed that first 45 , could challenge for the first team

Owly Mowly
Not a lot to take from watching that today - a few notes …. Dennis had a good combative first half - good to have him back. Gregory still looks sharp. Johnson and Bannan are quality. Alex Hunt won’t get near the squad. 2 new CB’s looked like just what we need. Smith rusty Not clear where Windass will play Not clear where Pato fits Dawson distribution looked confident and assured 1
Owly Mowly
An available midfield pool of Bannan, Byers, Vaulks, Adeniran and FDB should be great this season. We need cover for Johnson at LWB

Other positives: Only cost a tenner plus petrol.
