I wouldn’t say they’re positives

More like prerequisites

negatives  we did not score today

Main positive is half the team didn’t get stretchered off. After our recent injury nightmares that’s more reassuring than anything else…

how did the new lads look?

Smith few nice touches but needs a bit of pace alongside him , Ihiekwe looked solid enough , possibly a couple of stray passes

Heneghan,  again solid enough , but the second half was a bit of a training sesh nobody really went full pelt apart from Hunty a few times

Jaden Brown huffed and puffed but for me isn’t good enough, Paterson I’ve no idea where he fits in the team and looked like he’d come off the beach yesterday

Ryan Galvin is the one I’d pick out today,  looked composed that first 45 , could challenge for the first team

Paterson works his nuts off but has no technical ability at all..needs moving on.

Not a lot to take from watching that today - a few notes ….
Dennis had a good combative first half - good to have him back.

Gregory still looks sharp.

Johnson and Bannan are quality.

Alex Hunt won’t get near the squad.

2 new CB’s looked like just what we need.

Smith rusty

Not clear where Windass will play

Not clear where Pato fits

Dawson distribution looked confident and assured

They're always poor, but I only went to get a rare new ground in. Other positives:

Only cost a tenner plus petrol.

Game of football after a couple of months abstinence

I don't live in Alfreton

A few hours out of the house

Got home to S6 by 5:35, and the Mrs is now doing my curry
