Well every team in this league are rivals so let's have multiple posts on the other 20 odd clubs

Rooney as manager would be a big deciding factor in player potentially choosing Derby over us. But if you want multiple posts on the other 20 odd clubs I will leave that with you.

Not a great manager IMO, but a big name and a draw for players.

Derby seem to have found a saviour to buy the club, for the time being at least, but I don't see them being a force this season as their recruitment just got a whole lot more difficult.

Somethings got to have happened behind the scenes. I don’t see how he’s stuck it out til the end of June and decided the most positive day they’ve had in 2 years on a takeover front is the day to resign.

Perhaps he doesn't like who's taking over  ?.

Never liked Rooney, but his loyalty to Dorbeh has been tremendous. I am surprised he has stuck it so long.

He stuck it just long enough to be able to tell them to stick it!

Wasn't there a rumour that when he played for them his wages were being paid by Red Bull and talk of 3rd party ownership? Maybe if true they carried on paying him as manager ?
