Mendez laing to leave after rejecting New Deal

Recommended Posts

Good player, although a lot on here don't seem to think so. I'd have liked him to stay but as a club we need to pay players what we think they are worth, not what they demand. In this case we made an offer, he thinks he can do better elsewhere, that's fair enough.

Good luck to him, we move on.

I'm pleased with this

I don't think he is good enough to be a regular starter

We need to go for players better than what we have at the club

Buying players just to bulk out the squad lowers the quality of the overall squad

Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.

Should never have signed him, Berahino or for that matter Andre Green. Need to stop trying to be a rehab centre for basket cases. Would love to see the recruitment policy focussed on up and coming youngsters with potential resale value as others have said.

Looked good at this level when he briefly looked fit but struggled to complete 90 even when not crocked, so hopefully his departure opens the door for someone younger, hungrier and fitter, which the squad in general is crying out for imo
