I just think signing Stockdale suggests DM doesn’t have complete faith in Dawson who by all accounts did superb at Exeter. Being the age that he is, I’d be surprised if he lasts more than 2 seasons with us and not sure what the contract situation is but could easily find ourselves in a pickle. I can see exeter or someone else in L1 signing him permanently. End of day its 3rd tier football The manager here looks like he doesn't think dawson is good enough, so wants another keeper through the door Stockdale will be number 1 for us in league 1 Hes a free agent,experienced and was good in league 1 last season so money can be spent elsewhere DM will be working on a budget Would you sooner we spent on a goalkeeper and neglected other positions? 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
