9. Anyone who says they took an opposition kop in the 70's has to kiss Chris Adamson with tongues at half time in the centre circle and apologise to all fans for their stupidity.

£800m.

Perfect - like mentioned earlier cheat mode on champ man! Woo hoo!

Ok here goes.

West Stand would be gone as the first port of call along with the NW Corner. Work to blend that in with the rest of the ground.

Kop - Take the roof off and fill in the corners (where tango is) and add further seating higher and wider. Make the back a two tiered concourse over the top of the road junction so that traffic can still pass under it. Making facilities spaced out and accessible.

North Stand - concourses bigger and better.

South Stand - As is for the time being.

Capacity 60 k ish.

Ensuring infrastructure is updated for all training with state of the art options. Scouting network is revised across the board.

Ticket prices - until we get out of the pub league kids for a quid all games up to under 12. 2 quid under 18's - lets get the youth in. Adults - no more than £28-30 for POTG. ST's similar to now but have more incentive to use club products (namely merchandise)

Commercial - have to be more customer centric in this day and age, shop can be flattened and rebuilt whilst the builders are in. Two ticket offices - one in the same position the other in or near the South Stand.

Merchandise - back to Umbro with proper kits and yellow away kits. 2 Kits only, players who play for the Wednesday will wear black boots (that'll be going in their contracts) none of this fancy dan colour stuff!

Proper football people running the club and making it sustainable for long term success.

Team - we need a team to get out of this division, let DM loose with what he needs to get this. When were in the Championship then same again.

Allocations for visitors - reciprocal agreements in place with clubs prior. Example if Sunderland offer us 6k - they'll get it back. Fleetwood will have their 1200.

on a side note - a time machine would be amazing, does anyone know where that delorean is from a certain film? Lets go and pick up Waddle, Hirst, Nilsson, Sheridan, Palmer, Walker and a few more....

Anyway dreams are free!

How much would your ground improvements cost? 30/50 million?

I would keep it simple.

For this season build a team capable of promotion, based on what we have and what we need factoring transfer fees and wages £20-15m should do it for this season.

longer term we need a sustainable club, that means a youth set that produce first team players not releasing them all. A club merchandising and match day kiosk that make a profit for the club not lose us money. Then a 7 day a week stadium that pays for itself on match day and none match days too.

first the stadium will need bring up to standard you would expect, new facilities for both fans and players.

Then i would get tried and tested youth coaches in not ex players unless they have proven pedigree, I would build a football excellence in Sheffield to attract the best young players to play in the blue and white.

over a medium term promotion to the Premier league would be the goal, but this would be built of a solid footballing foundation not ripping off the fans or putting the existence of the club at risk.

There are many first steps, not just one, so it's a very difficult question to answer without due dilegence. For instance, what is the turnover? What is the profit or loss? What does the commercial department bring in and how can that be increased? What are staff and maintenance costs and how can any budget be better spent to reduce the latter over time? What is the condition of the ground and training facilities, and what needs to be spent to improve these? What are the players wages and lengths of contract? What is the current state of the academy and what needs to be done to improve that? What is the scouting network like, and medical facilities?

You get the gist. Due dilegence would answer these and many other questions and as a competent Chairman/owner that should give you enough information to know which are the first steps, how they should be approached and resolved, what the timeframe is, the cost and potential return if revenue generating.

It's not just about spunking a shed load of cash on a new manager and team; it's about planning for a sustainable future with growth.
