If they are still in administration by X date, do they face another points deduction?

They only have about 6 contracted players. I doubt they will be allowed to sign anyone whilst in Administration.

Could be big BIG trouble for Derby.

The only protracted takeovers that has ever seemingly worked out/happened were the Newcastle and Chelsea ones. Those were quite unique situations though.

It was so obvious that this bloke is another chancer without a pot to pi55 in.

9 times out of 10, these takeovers happen within a matter of weeks. Or I should say that they happen within a matter of weeks after news breaks that someone is interested.

Once it gets dragged on for months on end it is highly likely the whole thing will collapse.

I would think that losing points would be the least of their problems if the takeover falls through.

Genuinely fear for their survival. Sadly football has been run unsustainably for years and it is only a matter of time until a sizeable club like Derby go.

I hope they manage to sort something out.

Other than ashley who wants something for nowt. Every single takeover story recently has absolutley reeked of problems. It’s clearly not a good time to be selling a football club if even Derby are struggling to get someone with funds.
