Emerson Thome
As there was some speculation about the worst players on the other thread, I've decided to do an alternate countdown for the worst 10 players as well. While the best player has to have played at least 25 games, I've decided to open this category up to players with at least 10 starts, to let a few more wildcards enter the field. This will be hotly contested. The full list of players to choose from are: 10 SWFC appearances or more, 2013/14-2021/22 seasons (alphabetical order): ABDI, Almen (Yes, really) ADENIRAN, Dennis ANTONIO, Michail BAKER, Ash BANNAN, Barry BERAHINO, Saido BEST, Leon BORNER, Julian BOYD, George BRENNAN, Ciaran BROWN, Jaden BUTTERFIELD, Jacob BUXTON, Lewis BYERS, George COKE, Giles DAWSON, Cameron DELE-BASHIRU, Fisayo DIELNA, Claude DUNKLEY, Chey FLETCHER, Steven FORESTIERI, Fernando FOX, Morgan GREGORY, Lee HARRIS, Kadeem HECTOR, Michael HELAN, Jeremy HOOPER, Gary HUNT, Jack HUTCHINSON, Sam IORFA, Dominic JOAO, Lucas JOHNSON, Marvin JOHNSON, Reda JOHNSON, Roger JONES, David KACHUNGA, Elias KAMBERI, Florian KEANE, Will KIRKLAND, Chris LAVERY, Caolan LEE, Kieran LEES, Tom LLERA, Miguel LOOVENS, Glenn LOPEZ, Alex LUONGO, Massimo MAGHOMA, Jacques MAGUIRE, Chris MARTINEZ, Emiliano ('Damian') MATIAS, Marco MATTOCK, Joe MAY, Stevie McGEADY, Aiden McGUGAN, Lewis McPHAIL, Stephen MENDEZ-LAING, Nathaniel MURPHY, Jacob NUHIU, Adthe ODUBAJO, Moses ONOMAH, Josh ONYEWU, Oguchi PALMER, Liam PATERSON, Callum PEACOCK-FARRELL, Bailey PELUPESSY, Joey PENNEY, Matt PUDIL, Daniel REACH, Adam RHODES, Jordan SASSO, Vincent SEMEDO, Jose SHAW, Liam SHODIPO, Mide SOUGOU, Modou STOREY, Jordan THORNILEY, Jordan TURNER, Michael URHOGHIDE, Osaze VAN AKEN, Joost VENANCIO, Frederico WALLACE, Ross WESTWOOD, Keiren WICKHAM, Connor WILDSMITH, Joe WINDASS, Josh WINNALL, Sam ZAYATTE, Kamil 1

Drewswfc
Butterfield, Butterfield, Butterfield, Butterfield, Butterfield, Butterfield, Butterfield, Butterfield, Butterfield closely followed by ( you've guessed it) Butterfield 4 1
torryowl
Some poor players on that list ...I've discarded the cheap crap and gone for van aken who was a shocking defender for what we paid for him .....could have gone for abdi but when he could get his arse out onto field he could play tidely.

I think you have the makings of a song there.... No. 1 is Jacob Butterfield and no. 2 is Jacob Butterfield He'll be delighted to have a song in his honour
elyowl1
Butterfield, Kachunga and McGeady all truly awful players for us. I didnt include Abdi because i feel there's more to the story of him not playing then has been allowed out.
beswetherick
Some real shockers on that list. Kachunga is up there with the worst though, don’t think I’ve ever seen a striker ever look less likely to score a goal in my life! 1 2
Beast of Boulogne
Kamberi Van Aken Pelupessy Odubajo and the worst of all ( that bad he couldn’t even make the list ) … Izzy Brown 6 1 1
paulrs
My prediction for the top 5 is Butterfield Kachunga Odubajo Abdi Pelupessy I don’t think they’re necessarily the worst 5 players we’ve had but I think they’ll have been consistently scored low 4

matthefish2002
The really bad players even at Wednesday don't get to play that often. But I think the 3 that has the most detrimental effect on the club because of how much they cost and didn't contribute are Almen Abdi, Jordan Rhodes and Van Aken. 4
Owl 44
Jacob Butterfield Moses Odubajo Almen Abdi Elias Kachunga Where is Izzy Brown? Did he not play 10 matches? Actually no, he probably didn't. Was always injured like Abdi. I do remember him taking a corner against Rotherham once though...

marconi
Kachunga was a big waste of space too, along with Kamberi ,Van Aken Izzy Brown and Pelupessey, you have to question our scouting set up. Edited May 31, 2022 by marconi
