What more could he say please enlighten

What is the point of statement that gives no new information ?!

Maybe he should have talked up someone from the League of Ireland.

Absolutely. It would have been clear indicator that We have scouting system in place and that we are aware of talented, cheap players under our nose. Something We sadly lacked for most of last 25 years.

He's not having a pop, just stating a fact.

it's way too early for people to be speculating, but people are probably asking on the basis that chansiri and Moore
have spoken on the two scenario's , winning the play offs, and not..... so we are at not.

And not is a far worse place to be and will probably take more time to sort.

Well said Darren.

There's no point mixing Champagne with a Coffee or Cocoa beans with Heinz Beans.  The blend wouldn't be right.

We need the right blend.

Yep stating we are looking at a semi pro league would get the season tickets flying off the shelves. You may have an obsession with relying on players from lower leagues and youth teams but thats your own niche. Fans will be demanding promotion so he will be looking elsewhere.

I think the point is that what he said probably doesn't warrant a thread...

Its a strange market this year in L1. Derby [will] need loads of players, Ipswich are paying fees. MKD and Plymouth have lost big parts of their first team.

The season starts early and the loan market for Prem talent might be distorted by teams wanting more in house options.

Not easy to strengthen specific positions if there is little decent available.

Chansiri's chequebook will be important again.

Incredible replay.

looking at youth team and lower league players is not "my obsession or my niche". I want club to bring in players whose value will increase so we can be in a healthy financial situation so We might actually build strong foundations to in a due time push for Premier League. We use to work how you proposed it and it costed us 25 millions in transfer fees alone and resulted in point deduction and relegation.

Club MUST start producing value within its squad if we are ever to progress. I don't mind if it will be through our own academy or by buying and developing players from elsewhere.

One thing is sure and that is that bringing in players without resale value will bring us right where we were at the start of last season - in problems with FFP and with cr*p squad.

How many LOI or current under 23 players would you have in our starting 11 for a promotion push?

Im not saying don't scout a bargain but right now his media message can't be yeah lets look at LOI players.

Where did I say to bring in players for no resale value?

Last season we recruited well to be fair so have confidence we can do that again this season.
