Rangers took 100k to Seville without an arrest. Party atmosphere in the city with Frankfurt and they were given a big screen setup in another stadium in the city, no bother.

Ticketless fans at large events aren’t a problem. Ticketless Liverpool fans is a trend..

To be fair wouldn't say no bother. Seen a few videos of some right chair slinging between them and the Frankfurters.

Absolutely ******** disgusting if so.

Do the police get away with treating paying punters from any other section of society like this?

They are a problem when they're trying to get into the stadium.

No mention of real reasons for delay is there. God forbid the good name of them awful Scouse tw@ts is tarnished.

Why are there thousands of fans with tickets stuck outside then? Nothing is moving. Sounds a totally shambolic organisation.

I’m listening to 5 Live and their reporters make it clear the police were spraying people outside the gates indiscriminately.

The only way BT reported it was because some crying scouser ran onto the podium to tell them that families were being tear gassed by French police. lol

Probably due to tens of thousands of ticketless fans trying to storm the ground.

There was that video of some chair chucking with Frankfurt fans in balaclavas, but I can’t recall seeing any others. I don’t think there was actually a registered arrest and both Rangers and Frankfurt have been commended for that game.

Either way, a scuffle between a couple of dickheads doesn’t change the point that the best part of a couple of hundred thousand fans can and have gathered before without the scenes we’re seeing tonight. This happening with Liverpool is a trend that isn’t reflected by.. well, any other club in European football?

Sounds horrific and totally disproportionate.

There’s literally people stood still outside the gates. Why aren’t they getting those supporters in?
