The problem we have with society is that no one is prepared to admit they are wrong.

Thousands of people converging on a stadium without tickets is irresponsible, do they not realise that by that action alone they are causing more congestion?

A police force may have gone over the top with its reaction, but it’s a reaction that’s caused by both criminality and stupid laddish behaviour.

Not surprising when you have a British culture encouraging you to b@llshit your way through life, and Government actually attempting it week to week.

UEFA commissions an independent report into the incident

And if it doesn't say what they want it to say, then Liverpool fans will just write their own, putting the blame on every single factor except themselves. Again.

Some of those comments from the French government are outrageous. If Patel had come out with that she would be getting absolute pelters.

They know they’ve fizzed up and now they are blaming the fans.

The figures being touted (pun intended!) are clearly exaggerated, without question.

But on the other hand, whilst the French authorites are claiming there were x thousand ticketless fans or people with fake tickets, Liverpool and their fans will be adamant that there were zero, or if there were the culprits were all non-Liverpool fans...

15000 fake tickets out there and I'm yet to see anyone own up to buying one either knowingly or unknowingly. If the number is true then 15000 Liverpool fans are staying quiet hoping for a whitewash. And the ones who printed em and made the money are really gonna be hoping for one. I'll be interested to see how this plays out cos at the moment all we've got is accusations and suppositions.

It's all the ink manufacturers' fault.

If they hadn't made the ink then the cheeky scallies wouldn't have been able to print them.

A couple of days ago I read something where a reporter had got hold of a forged ticket and they said they were very good forgeries.

Tbh I’m finding the tribalism between football fans tedious. Fans of every club get treated like crap. Here is a very clear example of UEFA and the police ******** up and yet we are using it as a chance to pull down Liverpool. Fans should be sticking together on this one IMO, not doing UEFA’s dirty work.

Most fans are sticking together on this one and believe Liverpool fans should quite rightly share some of the responsibility. They have a habit of always side stepping anything which may incriminate them in any shape or form.

Liverpool fans should take responsibility where they were to blame

The authorities and police likewise

Going to the city a game is being played without a ticket is not an issue - its the intention to get in come what may that causes the problems.

There were extraneous issues with local gangs - Madrid are reporting similar

Some of the handling of the fans was disgraceful - that should not be denied nor downplayed cos Liverpool...
