He has.

When? He scored a good goal mid-season, a couple of others. Didn't score or look close in the play offs, Gregory did. Plus was injured for most of the season.

We keep him after a good offer comes in and we are making the same mistakes we have for at least the last 20 years.

What are you basing his value on? In the Championship last year he got 9 goals, so did Madine and Marriot this year. Would you spend £1m on either of them?

We vastly over value our players.

Ask for £1.5m and sell. I’d take the mill if we csnt get more. He’s 29, played 11 games last season, probably one of our highest earners.

Im sure we could get someone of similar level or potential to be for around the same and be younger.

Can’t help but think we’re in the driving seat here and they’ve played all their cards. Openly admitting they already have an agreement with Windass whilst offering £1m would suggest they’ll go higher and they really want the player. Get what we can out of them.

I trust Darren and his team to do the right thing 🙈, no seriously they are in a better position than us! if his injury is bad 🚑 then bloody sell and cash in now 💰 if they think no issue and he can play 40+ games next season keep (if we can afford his championship  wages) or sell to the highest bidder Simples!!

He absolutely isn’t. Check the prices League 1 players are sold for

The league is irrelevant. Will Grigg went for £3m in this league, Jack Marriott £3m, Paddy McNair (whose a CB) over £5m.

Not saying we’d get £5m but we could defo squeeze more out than £1m. Windass is 28 so should be at his peak and apart from last season had a good injury record.

Has proven himself in the championship and held his own at Rangers

He was a complete flop at rangers

That's why he signed for WIGAN

And has  never scored double figures in the championship
