Wonder when the signings will start to come through ? Mainly June or July ?

Season starts 30th July due to the World Cup being mid season, so shouldnt be long before we start seeing players arrive as pre season will be earlier

I'm guessing pre season training will start on Monday 27th June. That gives them 5 full weeks to prepare.

Good point. Hope we have majority in early and get them all up to speed . We really need a bit of buzz this summer created by good quality signings . Get season tickets purchased and a feel good factor . Then a good start

You know that's not going to happen. It will mainly be last minute signings, it always is.

Cheers buddy.

Hope you followed how well likes of Oliver Rathbone, Aaron Morley and especially Scott Twine did last season. All mentioned last Summer, all available and all called cr@p by many on here.

Opoku could definitely be one to keep an eye on. I’m sure he was linked last summer?

He’s 6ft 5 and left footed. He’s also played 54 times at this level for Accrington & Plymouth

Now a free

Wasn't Thornily released by Blackpool? Surely he's worth brining in. Knows the club, adaptable, capable.

Blackpool had an option for an extra year which they’ve used.

If we’re continuing with 3 at the back then we need at least 3 centre halves to replace Hutch, Dean and Storey. At least one of them needs to be left footed, ideally two

I’d say we need 4 given that Iorfa is made of glass

We can’t be going into another season having to rely on Palmer and Johnson playing in a back 3

For me possibly the best transfer done by football league side was that of Lee O'Connor from Celtic to Tranmere Rovers.

21 years old, ex-captain of Manchester United U-18's and captain of Republic of Ireland U-21 side while already making his senior international debut.

Good player at good age that can play in number of positions (RB, CB, CM) and who can hopefully get even better.

With 368 central midfielders on their books it would be wise to check if they would be interested in selling 21 years old Irish midfielder Luke Connell.
