fudge27
It's what every business ever does. Why would you give an asset another competitor albeight it indirect wants. Gives signals that you're a pushover 2

Gives signals that you're a pushover Seeing as the team that are interested in signing him are almost definitely never going to cross our paths - it would make them a customer, that wants our product, a product that we don't want and need to pay to sit on his backside.

Southie_Owl
Believe Moore said we are trying to sign two players at the moment? Hopefully one is a top striker, which is why we pulled out the Joseph chase. And another centre back is needed

Bloxwich Owl
Alan Nixon reporting that Fleetwood have placed a bid to get Cole Stockton from Morecambe. It’s said that a “low six-figure offer” has gone down for the striker, who has rejected new terms at Morecambe and is in the last 12 months of his deal. Bloxwich Owl
Sheffield Wednesday have lost two of their brightest young talents to Brentford. Winger Tony Yogane and forward Issac Holland initially agreed to sign scholarship terms with the League One club earlier this summer. But the teenagers, who helped the Owls finish fourth in the Professional Development League North table and reach the FA Youth Cup fifth round last year, declined the deals and have joined Brentford's B team for undisclosed fees. Yorkshire Live understands Wednesday are disappointed to see two talented players move on to pastures new, having spent years developing and nurturing Yogane and Holland. Do we even get a fee for then? Even if we do, it'll be pittance.

The offer on the table from Morcambe is to make him the highest paid player in their history at £2k per week ...... Definitely worth a look as an option for our pool of strikers to get us out of this division!
