Lose him and Windass

Bring George Hirst in
Get promoted

It's literally THAT simple

I know you're fishing Neil but Hirst looked 10 times the player that Berahino is now.

I'm not even fishing mate - honestly

I'd swap Windass and Berahino for HIrst

Add Twine to that setup and it's promotion time

Yep, we need a young, tall, mobile, hungry striker - hate to say it, but GH seemed to be exactly that when I saw him at Hillsborough this season.  Shame, but I don’t think it’ll happen.

Aye - zero chance

Would LOVE it if they buried the hatchet, brought him in, got David Hirst back to the club on matchdays and we crack on together as a club

He was worth a gamble but he isn’t and never will be prolific

and that is what we should be aiming for

easier said than done though

I the equivalent of his 9 full matches (800 mins) after his Spring return to the team he scored 8 and got 3 assists. Pretty impressive.

Before the play-off second leg I hoped he’d start alongside Gregory but I can understand why Moore took a gamble on Windass. It didn’t work and we’ll never know if the Gregory-Berahino partnership would have got us over the line.

We watched his first leg performance and he didn't break sweat . That's why he didn't start the 2nd leg.

Do you think we have the budget to buy Twine. ( I agree he is a real talent but doubt we could afford him.)

No great loss for me, far too inconsistent.

This. Good in patches but brushed off far to easily when it mattered most. Wish him well

I had a feeling he would. Hasn't had quite the impact that he's needed to have to justify another season. All the best and thanks for some decent goals.

Curious to know if this is his decision, or Moore's, I suspect the latter. Wonder where he'll end up?

That'd be some signing. I think it's a Moot point, anyway. He'll go to the championship or a Premier League club will pick him up. Can see any of the newly relegated PL clubs nabbing him.

Well out of our price range. Swindon must be kicking themselves though.

Releasing him tells me that there is some sort of a plan there. He was way too inconsistent so we cannot rely on him -> try to find someone better. I'm not looking at a world beater but I don't want to see players who are in and out of the flow all the time.
