Would have given him 1 more yr myself but maybe a change in formation or Daz has his eye on a younger lad maybe ..

Hunt was solid last season and would look to keep another season. Unless we have a shrewd signing to replace him

A bit surprised at this if true, he was one of our better players, particularly in the second half of the season.

However we don't know whether it's the club that's decided not offer him another contract or if he's turned a contract offer down.

DM rested him a few times towards the end of the season so maybe the club think that at his age he's maybe not up to the rigours of a 46 match League 1 season given the wages he would command.

People may disagree but my opinion is -  Hunt never pulled up any trees last season he was just a average in the division nothing wrong with that but - he's the wrong side of 30 and probably on a decent wage, if he does go maybe it will free up money for a younger hungrier right wing back. Not bothered if he stays or goes but money must come into it  🔵⚪🔵🦉

Very disappointing if Hunt leaves unless DM has a good replacement lined up.

Hunt has been excellent throughout the season and on his day puts in some dangerous crosses for the forwards.  Like many on here I would have given him at least another year and focused on strengthening in other more important areas.

We were a better team with him in it. I'd have been happy to see him in the starting 11 next season.

Be interesting to see if we stick with the same formation next season, that will clearly be relevant to recruitment.

Well, if true or not, we do need more competition in those wingback positions.

I thought both him and Johnson looked a bit leggy by the time we got to the play offs. NML also went missing and decided that he didn't fancy defending all that much which wasn't overly helpful in the dying minutes of a massive game.

about how much is he on ?
anyone know ?
Hope they do bring in a young hungry player we can develop as suggested above. There’s a young Swedish right back at Brighton by the name of Nilsson.
…….Surely it’s destiny!?
