Brookhouse1867
Suggestion 6 A personal one this, Hillsborough specific. Move the away fans. Absolutely NO WAY should they have their own end. This is our ground, our home turf. I’d look to sorting something out so they were up on the shelf in the South or in a pocket at the back of the North. Definitely not pitch side. I realise there will be loads of excuses about segregation, access, catering and they’ll probably complain if Ash Wednesday falls on a Tuesday! I’m not interested in excuses, sort it. Sort SAG, sort the architects, sort the police, sort our wannabe nutters but get the opposing fans out of the way so we the home support can help spur the team on. This is Hillsborough. Rant over.

When you have games with so many subs I am often amazed at how little injury is given. With regards to this stop the clock for injuries and substitutions

Dutch McLovin
1 - All English leagues under run by one association all way from premier league to grass route. Not any of the current governing bodies. 2 - Scrap VAR. 4 referees all working together and miked up. 3 - Make tackling allowed again. 4 - Timekeeping is done on the big screen. Clock is stopped for injuries and substitutions. 5 - Each club has an agent representative who deals with all transfers of players in and out of that club. Independent agents banned. They are employed by the club. 6 - Money is distributed through the leagues fairly. No parachute payments and no premier league preference. 7 - Less TV slots are allowed. 2 on a Sunday 1 on a Monday night. 2 on a Tuesday and Wednesday and one Saturday lunch. The rest are 3pm kick offs on Saturdays. 8 - Price cap of £20 on all away tickets in every professional league. 9 - Head injuries require a ten min recovery time where the team either makes a sub or plays with 10 men. 10 - Offside requires clear daylight between defender and attacker.

sherlyegg
Maximum squad of 24 named players before season starts which includes under 21 players. All loans made before season starts 12 months minimum. The loaning club pays all wages 2 subs per game max. 5 up and 5 down in each league. Playoff between 5th and 6th to go up..1 game..5th gets the home tie. 5th bottom playoff with 6th bottom. That might even it up a bit and not the end of the world if relegated..

Lightning
Bring back the foul throw, or actually enforce the current laws, does my head in when someone takes a throw in and his back leg comes up so high it nearly hits his head. Goal kicks to be taken from the side of the goal tat the ball goes out of play. If ever a rule was changed to encourage time wasting.

BOOFABI
Maximum wage. No ownership over clubs by government affiliates of any countries. No international competitions held in slave states. Heritage status for legacy clubs. The Ched Evans/Gary Madine/Billy Sharp/Oli McBurnie Clause - if a player does something criminal off pitch their contract is immediately void. papalazarowl
Green Cards... for kicking the ball away... taking your shirt off after scoring a goal. .. 2 greens = 1 yellow. and perhaps an orange card which (obviously) is inbetween a yellow/red but will give the opportunity for the manager to take the player off and keep the game as a contest rather than ruin it for an early sending off. This…. plus would love to see referee’s enforce the six second rule on goalkeepers.
Leaping Lannys Perm
Mandatory conclusion substitutes for any player who goes down with a head injury. Give the medical team five minutes to assess the player and either bring the player back on if they are fit or make the substitution permanent. If the player is okay, they still have to stay on for the full five minutes. Protects players with genuine head injuries and hopefully stops players putting it on to break up play. ------------ Mandatory time added on for certain events. Goals and subs add 30 seconds. Any injury adds at least a minute and then goes up by multiples of a minute. If a player is down for 70 seconds, that add two full minutes. ----------- Reinstate all FA Cup replays in every round and extra time in the league Cup. Sqauds are bigger than ever but teams constantly fighting for less and less playing time. ----------- Each squad must contain 3 homegrown players and 2 Under 21s.
