Will any chairman in England come out and tell us what's happening with the manager unless they have been relegated

We need to be sorting the retain lists as ost other clubs already have.

Offer new deals to players we are keeping,

Placing unwanted players on the transfer list

sorting out the players fitness programme and getting injured players fit

sort out a pre season schedule and warm up game fixture

we need to sign new players

A new season shirt

issues about the ground and pitch need addressing

the investigation into all the strain injuries that was ment to be happening

Instead we have DC on a zoom call telling us hes keeping Moore.

These things are probably being done, but we just aren't hearing about it. players out of contract may have been offered a new deal and have a few days to think it over - people do, new job offers etc. you have to weigh up the options first and not make a snap decision.

Players fitness - season has just finished, they will have a plan in place to follow but they have a few days off before pre-season kicks in, everyone deserves a holiday. Some clubs have done their retained lists, plenty of others, like us haven't. We'll get the update in good time of who is going, who is staying or who has been offered a new deal.

A new shirt - yeah, I'd like to hear about what's happening, but it seems like a lot of clubs haven't announced their new kits as yet although some are now starting to.

Can't see much being spent on the ground currently being in the league we are, probably just get the painters in to tidy Hillsborough up.

Transfers - window isn't open yet so nothing official can be done, we have had a couple of names linked so suggests things are happening here.

One zoom call does not stop any of that being ongoing

Unless he goes alright lets do nothing until I get a zoom call with Joe.

Indeed chairmen aren't involved in all of the things on your long list.

Plus there was speculation on Moore future due to nature of contract and play off disapointment so its good he came out and said it.

You need to calm down ffs.

Has anyone got Darren and Dephons email address?
Wanting to send them a copy of this so they know what needs to be done during the off season.

Along with all the suggestions of what should be pinned on the dressing room wall we occasionally get.

Good.

We can debate the relative merits of managers all day long, but the working relationship with Chansiri is crucial.

He seems to get on with Moore and trust him. Long may it continue and hope we maintain the momentum from the second half of last season.

All well and good until a  PL team come in and offer us several £££m for him, in which case we'll get sell up.  £5m and a couple of loanees should do it.

Gonna be a Bruce Mk II in my opinion.

As I understand it there’s an EFL deadline of 21st May for retained lists so sounds like you’ll know the first bit tomorrow. With the exception of pitch renovation most of the rest can only be done when you know who’s in the squad.

I wanted him gone as I don’t think he’ll get us promotion but at least that’s been made clear by the chairman so we should get behind him now.

He’s been backed and he’s done a good job off the field since he arrived so let’s get behind him again and have a good pre season and then hopefully he will have learned from his mistakes on it next year and we can get automatic.

Lets hope we act quickly this time tho, retained list signings in early in the main and have a full pre season so we won’t take until January to look fit.

Well does Chansiri bother about us these days anyway.....  seemed to disappear about 6 months before covid started.......

see you all again next season when we still in the same position......

Had enough to get promotion blew it.

Got into playoffs though.... blew it.

Yeah success is round the corner. How far is that corner away though.... even further now.

Go on Happy clappers have at it!

Every season we leave everything to the last minute and every season we are 10-15 games in before we have a settled team.

iF we are to get promoted next year we need to be on our game from the first minute of the first game not still scrabbling around to sign players on the last day of the transfer window.

The club need to start showing with actions that they are learning and evolving. Then we can all relax.

If I recall correctly, last summer’s transfer window we signed most of our players really early on. Our slow start was due to having to bed in so many and not knowing which players/formation to select. Shouldn’t need as many new signings this year, and the ones we do get will hopefully be brought in early again.

The teams that are getting promoted this season started off terribly

Wigan had 22 points from their first 10 games; Rotherham had 17; Sunderland had 22; and Wycombe had 20.

I'm not sure any of those starts could possibly be classed as 'terrible'.
