 No.

Thousands of people are able to go on the pitch without headbutting someone.

Thing is. You can be banned and still go to every game. They're a waste of time. Not trying to run down what your saying, but they don't work.

Clubs are never going to hand life time bans out to every single supporter who ends up on the pitch in events similar to last night. Even if they could identify everyone, they’d be shooting themselves in the foot financially, even with the threat of a fine.

That said, morons like the one who attacked Sharp last night need tough custodial sentences, massive fines and lifetime banning orders at all grounds to act as a deterrent.

I personally don’t have a problem with pitch invasions, per se, although I’ve never felt the need to be part of one. Firstly, they look a bit daft, and second, unless you bring your boots you’re likely to end up flat on your arse 😂

The health and safety of players, staff, officials and the supporters should be the top of list for every EFL club and the EFL itself.

Idiots who inflict injury on someone else anywhere in the ground need locking up for a long time for the sake of everyone's safety.

Running onto the pitch and assaulting someone is not "high jinx", it's not "just a bit of fun" and it's not "a reyt laugh".

If they can't keep off the pitch in such circumstances then we may see the return of (some sort of) cages and I doubt that anyone wants that.

Not if you have to report to a Police station at 3.00pm on a Saturday afternoon or 7.45pm on a Tuesday evening.

This is correct, but I don't think it's a thing anymore is it?

Our ' Fans ' .invaded the pitch when we scored at Crewe .

Dont think our players were too happy about being mobbed by a load of numpties .

Dont understand though , why players who score always run to a corner flag be it at a home end or the away end where they get pelted by bottles and rubbish and coins ,not to mention abuse .

Celebrate in the middle of the pitch and dont encourage the idiots who , like last night , may have less than innocent intent .

Banning Orders, Points Deductions and playing behind closed doors could and should be used - see how many muppets run on to the pitch knowing that 30k supporters will smash their heads if their team receives a massive punishment...

This ^^^ , in this way you have 30k stewards
