Kopparberg
I bet they wouldn’t offer much of a transfer fee to us…. Keep him if we can for next season.

prowl
Did we sign him on a one year contract or a two year deal. I can't find any info on it.
areNOTwhatTHEYseem
Hmmm...that third bullet point makes me suspect that not a great deal of effort went into writing this story.
0114
Would be surprised. Under contract for 12 months so can’t see a club paying a fee for a 33 year old. Unless he has something in his contract that allows him to move up a division I’ll be astounded if he leaves.

striker
Good luck negotiating with Chansiri for an under contract player... As it happens, thing Gregory likes it here and would be surprised if he moves. 2
Bluesteel.
Unless he’s dying to go, it wouldn’t be worth the fee we got for him as we’d only have to replace him for more cash and he’s a bit of a talisman for us now. It would be a big blow to lose tom even if it would make business sense to cash in on a 33 year old striker.

Key
What a strange article! Says Gregory has had a great season, scored loads of goals (almost every other game), says several clubs are interested in signing him (including Derby who apparently want to sign him twice!!), but then claim that Wednesday won’t want much of a fee cos he’s only got a year left on his contract. That’s another year when he could well be our top scorer firing us on to automatic promotion, and whatever you think of DC he’s not interested in selling any player for peanuts, he’d rather let them go for free when their contracts up if they’re still useful to us in the meantime. Gregory is of way more use to us as a player than a couple of hundred grand in the transfer kitty would be. Who could we possibly sign for that much who pretty much guarantees a goal every 2-to-3 games at this level, possibly more? He’s going nowhere. He’s our number nine! 8
Mike Hunt
Get rid We had to change our entire formation just to accommodate him
nbupperthongowl
Gibson has probably been on to the EFL....so we have to give them Gregory as our punishment for breaking FFP in 2025....... after all he does rule the EFL
Jim
I think he’s happy here as I think most of the players in the current squad are. It would be a mistake to let him go.
Jack of Clubs
Makes no sense at all for him to leave us right now. Wouldn’t be guaranteed a game in the Championship and Derby are a club in decline. I’d like to think he’s settled and would be a focal point for us next season.
