Palmer & Paterson have another year to go and we have another year option with Hunt. Would offer Dean and Hutch contracts

Getting relegated with a very poor squad.

We didn't know we would be relegated, same as we don't know we will be promoted - the fact is we were in the championship, which is what we tried to get into this year, and will try again next season, so how can it possibly be worse, we were already there?

They're already in talks with Hutch so you'd expect others are on going so not really factual to say "Fifteen senior players are due to leave this summer due to contracts or loans being up"

Not true - the statement is pure fact

Fifteen senior players ARE due to leave this summer

The bus is due in ten minutes - it’s not going to come in five just because I’m planning on getting on it - it’s due in ten minutes

Get some young hungry players in who want to succeed and win

Problem with that Idea Luke, is that we have fans who will butcher them for any mistake they make and ruin their chances of settling and developing

Some of our fans just rip our players to bits, boo them, and destroy them online any chance they get, all season long.

Im sure you yourself can relate to this

Hutchinson - new contract, always gives his all and a solid defender at this level.

Paterson - new contract, useful to have.

Berahino - new contract, starting to come good and looks like he's starting to link up well with Gregory.

Hunt - definite new contract.

Luongo - would love to keep him in that middle 3, but doubt he'll stay.

Dunkley - let go

Wildsmith - get another new keeper, bring Dawson back and let Wildsmith either go out on loan or transfer.

Returning loans:

Kamberi - could probably get a decent replacement.

Dean - bring back 100%

Shodipo - let go.

Storey - bring back if possible.

Peacock-Farrell - bring back if possible.

Gibson - too many injuries.

John-Jules - too many injuries.

Of all loan players, I think Dean is the best bet to return, which would be a great coup imo.

Berahino and NML can go for me. I wouldn’t mind Hunt signing for another year, Hutch is a must. I’d like Pato to accept his 1 year option. Luongo staying would be great but very unlikely. I’d like to wish Wildsmith all the best at whatever club he goes to next.
Oh i forgot Dunkley. I wouldn’t mind him staying but that’s unlikely.

Wildsmith is out of contract, we won’t get  a transfer fee for him.

What success did we have in the transfer market this summer?

Byers, Gregory (how is a 17 goal striker not a success?), Storey, Dean, Berahino (to some extent, got better as time went on), Denis (very good but unlucky with injury).

Silly me!

Let him go then. At one time I thought he would be the next natural number 1, but sadly doesn't seem good enough.

Pedant alert.  We only signed 3 of those in the summer.
