Talking about a world class striker who can be that for the next decade or so. See the rivals of other top sides complaining. Why? They'd be creaming themselves if they had picked up this kid for 60 million. Proper game changing signing though. In theory, it’s just swapping a rotating false 9 for more of a fixed central attacker (not that much of a change maybe) but in practice, their front 4/5 play interchangeably and they all have pass and cross stats like they’re genuine midfielders. Haaland ain’t that kind of player from what I’ve seen, though he’s freakishly talented so maybe Pep thinks he can adjust. Be interested too in what release clause/s are in his contract to ensure he has his options open on a future Real Madrid move. Puts Kane in a really difficult position, I bet he definitely had his heart set on a move this summer. Haaland is younger and cost almost halve the price - resale value as well, which Kane wouldn't have at his age. This will be very interesting at City, they will have to spend the summer looking at a different way of playing now. Maybe time for Sterling to move on? even KBD?
