I personally think Dawson would do a good job, but he'd have half of our 'support' baying for his blood at the first mistake. Maybe we should cash in on him whilst his stock is reasonably high. Defence - I'm sure Dean will sign permanently, but doubt we'd pay the asking price PNE would want for Storey. Hutch should be offered a player-coach role. Gibson has undoubted quality, but his injury record is maybe something we need to avoid. Will Boyle is another option at LCB. Midfield - There must be numerous young Prem players available to loan. Whilst asking City about Bazunu, I'd also see if we could get Lewis Fiorini who was on loan at Lincoln this season. Up front - I'd seriously consider bringing Hirst back, but fear a similar issue with our support to that of Dawson. Jayden Stockley at Charlton perhaps? I'd also look to give some of the youth players an opportunity next season. Cadamartari? Galvin? Davidson? and don't forget Brennan and Hunt. fpowl Posted May 10, 2022 Share Posted May 10, 2022 Think we could attract some players people talk a lot in football and we play good football in general that’s attacking we’re obviously playing at the right end of the table and we be one of the favourites for football money talks and we pay it in agent fees and wages we’d will have of not one of highest budgets in the league and the support this season for anyone who’s been to the away games or been to some of those last packed out games especially last night wouldn’t go unnoticed or untalked about why on earth would a professional footballer want to play in that and that’s why our recruitment team have to earn their crust this season, we will have the budget and the stature to basically be pick of this division and the lower end of the championship teams it’s why we signed allegedly championship quality players because we can offer them a promotion push, playing good football in front of big crowds and we can pay them 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
