Good experienced core of a squad, with a few younger players. I think storey would be a good fit if available and players of that ilk, reducing the average squad age, likely to be our focus this summer. It's a good starting point, better than last summer. Last summer we partly missed due to signing all the wingers, hopefully we now know what type of football we will play. After extensive googling I can’t find anything about Johnson, Brown or NML’s contract lengths. I can see Johnson and Hunt staying. Wildsmith, Luongo and Dunkley are gone, can't see them wanting to stay or be offered a contract. Hutchinson really depends if Moore wants him to stay, cant see a Championship side realistically coming in for him and pretty confident we could match any offer from another League 1 club, hopefully a Player coach role if he fancies going into that side of the game. Those ive seen listed with options in this thread Berhaino and Hunt arguably keep. Paterson too expensive I guess for a non regular utility player and NML a bit meh. From the loans Dean ideally, BPF again if Burnley let him and we want him back, same with Storey. Gibson out of conract with Everton i believe but not 100% sure, the argument for signing him is hes showed potential, knows the Club now and may be cheaper due to the long injury, against signing him the long injury. The other loan signings thanks for your efforts and we wish you all the best, nothing against them but injuries and lack of quality have meant they havent made an impact.
