This club is being ran in an unsustainable fashion by a unstable owner - we’ve got a 10 million quid playing budget in League One for christ sake.

 

Last night wasn’t just about the fans - it’s about everyone else behind the scenes at the club, that will likely face cutbacks as we wind in our expenses - there was so much more on the line.

Damn right it’s ONLY A GAME and if it’s more to you than that you need to get a life.  Thoroughly enjoyed this season, best football since Carlos and so much better than a lot of the dross I’ve watched since the seventies.  We were beaten by a better manager (Hull playoff final anybody!) but we have the squad to be even better next year.  Chill out and look up.

My first thought after the game was taking our 5 year old to his 1st Owls In the Park...just to give him something else to do instead of trains and youtube.

Admittedly, as a life-long Wednesdayte, I'm seriously disappointed.I still feel, however, that we finished FOURTH. and to me, the whole season is the  parameter. Only the first THREE shouldbe promoted, and the play-offs, simply a money making scheme, should be dispensewd with.
