striker Posted May 9, 2022 Share Posted May 9, 2022 Strangely calm on the morning of such a big game. I've ran all scenarios in my head over the weekend and just can't call it. Two things that go for us is that I wanted Wycombe in the final if we made it that far. Secondly, if we don't do it this season, seen more than enough to look forward to next season and a realistic charge for the top 2. Perhaps easier knowing what we have to do tonight, score 2 or more goals. No game management involved, just attacking. I think at the start of the season I’d be pleasantly surprised at how well we did considering the position the club was in. But at the same time I think of all the silly mistakes, poor defending from set pieces and last minute equalisers we’ve conceded and think we should be up automatic regardless.
