Anyone else in limbo?

Just trying to waste the weekend away - but thinking of every possible scenario in my head of what’s going to play out on Monday evening.

Distractions just leading back to thinking about the match.

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhh

I'm pretty chilled.

What will be will be.

It's only one nil but it is going to be tough on Monday. It is certainly doable, though my head is thinking we perhaps come up short.

That's not based on anything, bar a gut feeling.

Hopefully, I'm talking crap (usually do).

I think this is the benefit of the home leg second as whatever happens next good or bad, it’s not as tense waiting for a home game than the away one.

Felt much more nervous about that second leg against Brighton.

I just hope that, if we go out, we do so swinging.

There may have been more time between games then but it seemed to be about a week? Waiting on Knockaert also

Not sure.

I'm thinking it was a Friday and then perhaps a Tuesday?

I felt more nervous because the prize was premier league football for the first time in 17 seasons. If we do or don't do it this time the difference is a bottom half championship finish vs a promotion challenge in league 1. We need to go up to stabilise and build again back towards the top of the championship but the excitement of winning promotion from this league just wouldn't be the same

I’m same. Think it’s based on a recent history of us being let down. Would love just for once to be proved wrong, but I’m preparing myself for the worst.

I look at it this way.

We've had a really good second half of the season and it's been such a enjoyable time to be a Wednesday fan, the best time for some time, actually.

I'm confident in our ability to dismantle Sunderland, tomorrow. Hillsborough will be absolutely roaring.

Worst case? We don't go up this year. If we don't? Well, I'm pretty convinced we will next. Not just that, but we'll dominate the league.

Relax and enjoy the ride my friend 🙂

This is a fair point.

The PL is the destination and all the others divisions are a means to an end.

Obviously, I want to be back in the Championship, but i don't think any of us should be deluded enough to think next season would likely be anything but a tough one.

It's a horrible division, real tough.

Still - let's hope we give it everything tomorrow.

I don't think it's as easy as saying we'll be in the running again next year - I'm convinced there is something else behind the scenes with Chansiri as well that would come out of the woodwork, that we really need to go up at the first time of asking.

I don’t think the championship is great tbh

I mean (minus the deduction)  last season we won enough points to stay up, and let’s be honest that was probably on paper the worst Wednesday side we have had barring that one in 2003. Also throw in the fact we had 4 managers too

The current side even under Moore would comfortably stay up imo
