nickswfc
Tonight, I saw 2,000 Wednesday fans with 3,000+ empty seats around them On Monday we'll see 2,000 Sunderland fans in an upper tier that holds 4,000 Sometimes, as humans, we overcomplicate things I think it's fair to say this is f*%King ridiculous 7
Blatter
Been trying to get my mind around this for a day or two. It’s proved inadequate for our games and it’s clearly even more inadequate for the Championship play offs. The only reason I can come up with is that as the games are arranged at short notice there is a perceived policing and safety issue. Thoughts anyone? ANDY
I was talking to a Sunderland fan yesterday. He said that both clubs had agreed on a 5k away allocation but the EFL put the kaibosh on it and stipulated 2k max

EFL actively trying to stop fans watch football and the clubs make money. If it is true, EFL should refund the 3k x £20 ticket receipts lost to both clubs.

sibon
The 2k figure benefits us. Home in leg 2 with a crowd almost entirely of home fans. If we can wake the South Stand up, we should be able to be the difference Edited May 6, 2022 by sibon
