Gregory is absolutely class at this level, far too good.

That said, injuries are catching up with him and he's likely going to miss more than he plays so we need to look at back up options for next season.

As long as berahino can keep his feet on the ground and work hard, we will have a player on our hands who could very easily make the step up to championship level and deliver for a few years to come.

Whatever league we are in next season, we need good young back up players to be ready to step in and deliver when these two are out.

Where have you come to that assessment that injuries are catching up on Gregory?

Hate dropping players in form and bringing in players who haven't played much, but i'd start Windass and Gregory Friday night. Harsh on Berahino i know, just think it's that stage to unleash Windass. Don't think he will though, would expect him to get 20 mins again

From a few different pieces of information really, but also considering his age, which as we know is a factor in increased injury prevalence.

Says himself here he's now having to listen to the medical team more, can no longer just crack on as he used to in the past: https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/football/sheffield-wednesday/lee-gregorys-injury-admission-as-sheffield-wednesday-top-scorer-eyes-play-off-spot-3642164

From his time at Derby where he missed a chunk of key games for them too: https://www.derbycounty.news/news/rooneys-injury-update-suggests-lee-gregory-may-have-played-last-game-in-derby-shirt/

But he's not getting any younger and should we get promoted, we know the championship is played at a higher intensity and therefore he's even more likely to pick up injuries. For now, it's good to be enjoying such a class player at hillsborough, but i'm sure the club are already considering their back up options for next season.
