Popular Post nuneatonowl1
Not sure days can get any better than yesterday. Taking my grandson to his first ever SWFC / football game. He loved it though he still managed a nap at half time. His face when he was brought up the steps to see the ground will live with me forever. How ironic the first goal he sees was scored by a Wednesday fan playing for the opposition, the second goal scored by a Blade playing for us . His SWFC journey can only be downhill 11

Kew Owl
Great stuff - you might need to manage his expectations going forward, it’s not always as good as it was on Saturday. Hopefully he’ll quickly become a fan for life though !
CourteenerOwl
I had a similar situation I think in the seat behind me. The kid spent whole game smacking me on my head!
A47Owl
There was somebody running across the front of the South with a little un over his shoulder after one of our goals. Poor kid will be traumatised for life. . Lovely story and pictures above.

Ian Fleming
On the South stand concourse before the game on Saturday a bloke and his young son went up to the huge Don Megson poster and were obviously overjoyed to see it. He asked the steward to take a photo of him and his son in front of it. As they were walking away the steward asked if he was related to Don Megson and he replied " Yes, he's my Grandad "
