Rogerwyldesmullet
Took one to my very first Owls match, an utterly non-eventful 0-0 v Forest around 1968. Under pressure from my sisterly chaperone, l “rattled it” about 3 times, never to do so again.

Hoofit
Got an old Sheffield Tigers speedway one - it really is an offensive weapon, in terms of noise & weight! Bought as a pair with a Birmingham speedway one. Can’t find a photo of it but here’s the Brummies one
SwissOwl8200
I think we've still got both my dad made for me and my brother in late 60's. Both painted blue n white. My brother's had a fair bit of weight about it and he did accidentally clip someone on the head with it.
alan48
Made one in school woodwork ,painted blue and white . Took it to next match ,stood at front wall of kop with rattle hanging over the wall . Maddogbob
I've got this thing in the house, I've no idea where it came from, but the kids have been informed that the next one to use it, will end up with a broken arm.
sternlad
First wooderk project at Westfield circa 1967…I did paint mine blue and white at home using them mini tins of humbrol paint that you used for Airfix kits…never used it though, as a weapon or a noise maker! Made very good bird scarers if you had a bit of reseeding to do

Pulcinella
Probably the most successful thing I ever made in woodwork at school. Don't know what happened to it.
