BPF back on loan

Harley Dean to sign, may be Gibson

Think Dele will be a regular in midfield

Need another tall striker with Gregory

others will depend on who stays

release

Brow, Sow, Kamberi, Shipedo, (Think Storey will leave)

Agree with all of this

Apart from BPF. If we go up I’d take him for certain but sadly if we don’t then no chance he’ll have another season in pub league.

And Ivan Toney had an awfull record at various clubs around the country, untill he moved to posh, 30 odd goals in 150 games, but he got his head down and worked, maybe CS has done just that

Ivan Toney started scoring goals at 22 (18/19) not 28

Thats when he moved to peterboro, just like I pointed out, where did I say he was 28? and his record prior to that ( apart from his 2018 loan spell at scunthorpe, was poor

The point being Toney was developing and had years ahead of him

A 28 year old with no prior is a much bigger risk, much less resale value and proven a failure of sorts over a longer period. In essence much more likely to be a one off then a younger player, especially who has put seasons together bagging goals

Toney had the luxury of playing in sides that were on the up from 2018 as well and was surrounded by confident players with a level of ability and confidence thats way above Morecambe who are perennial strugglers.

For the right price, its a no brainer, another club will always take him on. better us get that chance than watch someone like Derby or Ipswich/ Barnsley take the gamble and profit from it.

Twine would be a shout from MK if they don't go up. Would like to get a solid keeper in. Dean on a perm.

Don't think we would be able to pay the fee MKD would want for Twine. Sure he is on radars of club's with bigger pockets than us.

Agreed, if we don’t go up then players like Alfie May, Stockton and Ironside are potentially ones to monitor.  Also Dembele on a loan from Bournemouth.

It’s going to be depressing rebuilding for another league 1 campaign but need to make some positive moves and go into the season as serious title contenders this time round from the offset

Alfie May is a good shout.

Vardy won the premier league had a number of england caps was PFA player of the year, and golden boot winner at 28/29. Its a bit different.

Hed also scored goals all his career at every level he played. Stockton hasnt

Wasn't he at Fleetwood at 26 and been at Halifax before that ? There are rough diamonds out there it's being willing to take the risk.

Stockton played in a team who got promoted last season, and played for a tranmere team who got promoted previously, as well as for Hearts who are one of the bigger teams in SPL?

He has played in a number of 'better' side for the lower leagues he has been in, and before this season had an average/poor record

Were not privvy to how he was asked to play or where abouts, could have been outwide elsewhere. Its not about what he did then, its more about what hes doing now, which is scoring shed loads of goals

In one season, aged 28.

There are much better options for us, in this league, or certainly if we go up

we paid around 700K a goal for jordan rhodes @ 28 a cheeky punt for Stockton would be far less risky

Absolutely no correlation.

Much better options out there then Cole Stockton
